Jamie Berry was awarded Wales's Creative Tutor of the Year Award 2020, for his work with Breakin' for Better Mental Health.

He was Shortlisted for the Dance and Wellbeing Award with One Dance UK. Jamie has spoken about how he has used Breakin' to self prescribe an activity to better his own Mental Health.

Jamie has Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD and depression. He is creating a Hip Hop Theatre piece using Breakin' which engages audiences and allows them to experience a cypher first hand.

As well as choreographing Hip Hop Theatre Jamie has competed nationally and internationally and teaches and runs events for Avant Cymru in the Rhondda South Wales.

Jamie is currently taking part in a Para dance training and training with Bboy Dojo, continuing to learn and creating ways to make Breakin' accessible to all.
