Software Engineer

Bboy Premier trained in the UK & spent time training in Korea. As well as being a Bboy he has gained Software Engineering Degree. Inspired by other events Torrell designed a Competition management system 'Woosh' as part of his dissertation and has since further developed the software in collaboration with breakers, event managers and business mentors. The Woosh Competition Management System allows all members to enter the league regardless of age, gender, disability.

Woosh Competition Management System® ensures that event organisers, competitors, invited artists and spectators all experience a smoother, more transparent event. From organised schedules and battle brackets, to judging and live updates: Woosh provides all the tools needed to prepare and run a professional battle. In mid 2020 Niklas Schumacher / BBoy Kyuu, a digital product designer and Bboy from Germany joined the Woosh team, bringing a revolutionary judges system ‘Versus‘. Versus will be employed as the UK National Governing Body’s official judging system. ‘Versus‘ will make the judge’s decisions more transparent and will provide competitors with personal feedback from their battles. 

The Woosh system was put forward to members as the system for UK Breakin' competition analysis and management, due to the fact the Torrell is; a member, a UK Bboy, the team has qualifications in software engineering and digital product design, they have support from major institution's (Sheffield Hallam University, Santandar and more). Also the team are willing to work with and listen to members to make additions to the system to keep it up to date for member's needs.
