David “Footloose” Russell is the co-founder and creator of Break Mission community interest company which was founded in 2012 and serves as one of the top grass roots Hip-Hop events in the UK, it has worldwide recognition reaching from UK to the Far East, Europe and USA, with over 70 events under its belt it is fast becoming a name on the circuit when it comes to Breakin David is also an artistic director for B-Side Hip-Hop festival in Birmingham UK and associate artist at Birmingham Hippodrome one of the countries largest theatres. He has been dancing 10 years, teaching for 5 years and travelled to many different countries competing as well as hosting events, He has won awards in his local region for his attributes to the arts and also been recognised as an ambassador for the Hip-Hop scene in the city he lives building towards making Birmingham a Hub for UK Hip-Hop.
